Have you ever been to this awesome country, named Romania?
An old land since the times of Thracians :-)
IF, it will happen'and you don't have any idea what to visit, here are some small #touristic points that must be checked in your itinerary ...
My first touristic point to visit would be:
Ulpia Traiana Sarmizegetusa.
This was the capital of the Roman Dacia and it was built on the ground of a military camp from the 5th macedonian legion and by the very beginning the ancient city received the title of colonia and as well the status of ius italicum.
It has an area of 30 hectares and the population was estimated between 20000-25000 people and it was considered to be an important political religious and administrative center between the 2nd and the 3rd centuries.
Even if this ancient city was destroyed in the Past by the goths, the actual site remained in ruins, well preserved with its amphitheatres, forums and remnants of several Temples.

The next toruistic pick-up for your #itinerary should be Curtea de Argeș Cathedral.
This old cathedral resembles a very large and elaborate mausoleum, and was built in the Byzantine architectural style, with arabesques influences as well ...
It dates since early 16th century ...
You'll find out as well the famous myth of Manole, the mason, who built his wife Ana inside a wall of the Cathedral of Arges ...
This legend is still under a mystical fog, regarding the sacrifice that master Manole have made ...
Here are some of my photos of this awesome cathedral that has behind its building process, this mystic legend.
If you like as well the Nature, especially the mountain forests and you would like to see snow even during Spring or Summer, you should visit the famous Transfagarasanu, which is a paved mountain road crossing the southern region of the Carpathian Mountains of Romania.
It is the second highest paved road in Romania after the Transalpina ...
