It was the month of February 1999. I studied in honors first year. My brother-in-law serve in police whose posting was Langadu, the district of Rangamati in Bangladesh. My duty was to go to Rangamati with my elder sister. Usually I was very fond of travel on. It was a great chance for me. I did not miss the opportunity to visit Rangamati. I did not like to remember the specific date of my journey .
I took two ticket from kalabagan,Dhaka and we started my journey with my elder sister at 11 a.p. Our bus was running in full speed. As it was night we spend most of the time by sleeping. I have most curiosity to enjoy the experiences of my first journey of Rangamati but failed because my journey was nighttime. Anyway, my bus reached near Rangamati at early in the morning. As i did not enjoy the natural sceneries both side of the road at night but in the morning i would not like to miss any natural sceneries of way of my journey.
Probably our bus reached in Rangamati main city at 11 or 11.30 a.m. At 12.a.m. we arrived a lunch for go to Langodu. It took more than 4 hours to reach Langodu. In lunch i met different kinds of local people whose outlook & language were totally very difference from us. They talked with each others with their own language but i did not understand their language at all. Sometimes i asked them about our destination they explain me in Bengali. It is a great experience for me.

Going my journey by lunch I enjoyed beautiful high low mountain. It,s look like black cloud.There i noticed some school & collage where students gathered by engine boat. Boat & lunch are the only communication elements of this locality.I was so much delighted to enjoy such kind of panoramic scenery. Surface of the vast sheet of blue water enchanted me.Everything seems to me like a water color painting.

We reached our destination about 3.30 p.m.I stayed a few days in my sister residence and visited some charming place. Kaptai lake is one of them.
Kaptai Lake: Kaptai lake, beautiful watery lake which was made by people. The size of this lake is approximately 11,000 sp km.You will enjoy the natural beauties of this lake as well as boating on the lake. It is a huge lake and it was some tiny islands. Each island has it`s different name such as "Peda Ting-Ting", Tuk-Tuk Echo Village", "Chang-Pang" etc. " Peda
Ting-Ting" is a tiny island and here you will find cottage to stay & enjoy moonlight night with fantastic lake."

Tuk-Tuk" is an echo park with varities of trees and plants. It is a great place for boating & cruising.
Hanging Bridge is 335 feet long bridge across a portion of the Kaptai lake is an icon of Rangamati.

Actually Rangamati is famous for this bridge. It,s really a very beautiful bridge. Every year thousands of people come here to visit this bridge & lake.
Really it was a fantastic experience for me & I will never forget this journey in my life.
