I went to Bali with almost the same group of friends I went with, in Jakarta. We were there for 4 days and felt like millionaires because of the conversion of the money.
Our first order of business when we arrived was to party! Compared to Singapore, it's easier to spend money on drinks in Indonesia since it's a lot cheaper.
Our second day was more of a relaxed and exploration day.

We did:
- beach bumming + surfing in Kuta Beach
- chilling by the pool
- parasailing & extreme banana boat ride in Nusa Dua
- dinner by the beach at Jimbarang
The following day was the most exciting and the highlight of the trip, which was hiking Mount Batur! We woke up as early as 2am so we can catch the sunrise. So imagine the trail up from the camp - super dark!
It was my first hiking experience. I didn't come prepared. Good thing, we have our friend who is an experienced mountaineer, to guide us and be our "hiking stick" when we needed a lift.
Despite the height of about 1,717 m (5,633 ft) above the sea level, it is considered an easy hike and is suitable for beginners.

After the hike, we did the most-awaited traditional Balinese massage and spa, and tried the famous Balinese coffees.
We also went to Tanah Lot to wait for the sundown.

On our fourth day, we waved goodbye to Bali.
It was definitely fun. But to be honest, Bali is my second least favorite place in Indonesia.
But I do hope you enjoyed reading my post. Look out for more of my upcoming posts, so you'll understand why Bali is the last on my list.
See you on the next post 👋😎
