We met in school during our college days. We have been friends ever since.
Technically, this Bangkok trip we had was already Part 2 of our vacation together.
From Singapore, we flew to Bangkok.
On our arrival, we went straight and checked in our hotel which was about 10 mins drive from the airport.

We rested for the night to prepare for th next day's activities.
Our next day was a bit jam-packed. We both enjoy cultural and heritage tours so we maximized the day by doing temple-hopping.
We visited:
We visited:
- Royal Chapel of the Emerald Buddha
- The Grand Palace
- Temple of the Reclining Buddha (Wat Po)
- Chao Phraya Bangkok River Cruise
- Wat Arun
Be reminded to wear the proper attire to cover the legs and shoulder as temples are sacred spaces.
Here are some of our photos:
After a long tiring day, we went back to the hotel to relax and chill by the pool to end our day.
Our next day was the most fun part of our Bangkok trip...
The first part of the day was scheduled for shopping, since we are in Bangkok, we thought it would be nice to do shopping. We used the entire half day to stroll around malls and markets to find something worth-buying. But we ended up empty handed.

The second part was intended for us to watch a cabaret show, which was a lot of fun! It was a Las Vegas-style transgender cabaret, burlesque & dinner show at Asiatique riverfront market.
The lady-boy in blue was the star of the show. The skits were very much entertaining. The humor was generally wholesome - nothing sort of degrading, humiliating or offensive.
After the show, we went back to the hotel to rest and prepare for the biggest adventure of our lives together!
Stay tuned for the next post ππ
