Ahsan Manzil- One of the popular tourist places and major attraction of Dhaka-Bangladesh. I had the chance to visit this place several times and every time the beauty surprised me. The structure of this building is very attractive as you can see. Besides that, if you visit the museum inside the building, you will feel you went back to the 18th century!

If you want to go back to the time the best thing you can do is to visit historical places and museums, I guess. I have seen many who doesn't like it that much, including my husband. But I just love this. It gives me a real good feeling.
I'm sharing some of my old captures with you. I hope you would also love to take a look!
The details of this building will amaze you. Every design, coloring is carefully given. Though the authority tried to re-touch it several times because it was broken in many places but it still looks nice.
You may not love how this structure located middle of the city but if you go inside you will be a different world. The museum doesn't allow me to take any image so I can't share anything from inside.
Roaming around the balcony, seeing the large structure, observing the detailed architecture was enough to made my day.
This building got re-touch several times. It got broken in several places and when the modern hands touch them, it loses its previous detail and beauty. Especially, the outside wall was totally different before and the red color also doesn't fit very well. It was more attractive before but we have to approve that the authority tried their best to make it look nice.
The best thing about this place is, it's surrounded by a huge river. When I think about how people feel seeing a large river just in front of their lawn, it makes me feel refreshed. People sit and relax on the green lawn and enjoy the breeze of the river. The river is polluted though but it looks nice.
This building was the core of business, economy, and politics once. Now it's a tourist place. But you will feel the old vibe while visiting this place. I hope I will visit this place again very soon, I mean after everything gets back to normal!
Stay home and stay safe!

I had my University degree in 'Public Administration' and later did my Post Graduation in 'Human Resource Management'. I also gathered experience working with HR in a multinational Organization. Besides that and most importantly; I'm a life & nature enthusiast, I love to learn human psychology, I'm a 'Book worm' and very introvert but also love to travel. I'm trying to live mindfully and sure, I'm a positive learner.
