During my work on the Space Station Chronicles it showed gravity space stations and large space stations could be built reasonable quickly. However . . .
Keeping safe from space junk and other satellites is a problem all large space stations are going to face. Unlike small space stations, large ones can not just move out of the way.
I know there are things done currently to better handle micro object impact. It's the larger ones that are the problem.
Has anyone looked at this issue?
