I am Saturn.
I am the sixth planet from the Sun.
My name was given in antiquity (observed by Babylonians ~2000 BCE).
I was named by Ancient Babylonians (as Ninurta), Greeks (as Cronus), Romans (as Saturnus).
My name came about as my slow movement suggested age and agriculture; Greeks called me Phainon ("shining").
My name means Roman god of agriculture and time (equivalent to Greek Cronus, a Titan).
An interesting fact is Saturn is the slowest-moving visible planet, symbolizing time's passage; its rings, unknown in antiquity, were later discovered by Galileo in 1610.
