A new 20-meter mural has appeared in Kyiv recently. It is dedicated to the documentary movie "The First Code" which tells about the history and modernity of the Ukrainian IT.
It is my entry to CCC's Street Art Contest #150.
The height of this colorful piece of art is 20 meters. Artists Andriy Kovtun and Anton Kondrashov worked on the mural. The mural depicts a boundless cyberspace ocean with lines of binary code and Japanese koi fish.
The mural was created in 10 days. Japanese carp were chosen because these unusual fish always swim against the current.
"The First Code" is a story-journey in time: it begins in the 50s, from the creation of the first computer by Ukrainian engineers to the present, when the IT has become not only a powerful industry, but also an important front in the war with Russia . The soundtrack was written by the band TVORCHI and the song was dedicated to Ukrainian cyber troops.
The address of mural is Nauky avenu, 10, Kyiv.
Thank you for stopping by and have a good weekend ❤
