Hi @StreetArt friends, today I bring you a fun mural I got on one of my walks.
This is a complete mural that measures approximately 50 meters in length. The author is unknown since in the city it is located, there is a culture of ornamenting the walls with this type of painting, so the local young guys get together and choose the wall they want to decorate, but sometimes they don't put their signature. You can be seen in the image this mural was made in 2017 despite the time of pandemic that has not allowed maintenance, its colors remain almost intact.
When I found this mural, I found it very funny because it captures the mischievous spirit of the boys. After all, in this mural, you can see some animal control officers trying to catch some naughty dogs that are doing graffiti all over the city.
Their colors are bright, and the dogs' laughter is defiant in the face of authority. I imagine that they capture a lot of the rebellious feelings of the teenagers who painted this mural.
This street artwork is on the wall of a school on the main avenue of San Antonio de Los Altos, Venezuela. If at some point they resume the activities that allow again our local youth to continue doing this kind of art, I will continue to walk the streets and photographing to share with you these wonderful creations.
Thanks for reading. See you in a future post!
