Tribute mural to Soto, Los Palos Grandes - Caracas
This mural, located in one of the neighborhoods of eastern Caracas, is a tribute to the Venezuelan artist Jesus Soto.
Jesús Soto was a Venezuelan artist, painter, sculptor. And one of the greatest exponents of kinetic art in the world. His work is exhibited in the world's most important museums.
I have talked about one of its works in Hive before since it has become an icon of my city, Caracas. The Esfera de Soto or Esfera Caracas can be seen on the side of Caracas's principal highway.

The mural was designed by a Venezuelan artist named Iván Salgrero.
The mural has some three-dimensional elements. Some colored metallic squares protrude from it.
The mural "Tribute to Jesús Soto" is located on the 2nd transversal of Los Palos Grandes on one of the exterior walls of a building called Vista Hermosa.
In this neighborhood in recent years, there have been initiatives to make its spaces more enjoyable for its habitants. Among these initiatives, there were some murals as a tribute to kinetic art and its exponents in Venezuela.
