I have always admired health professionals, I think they have a lot of courage and bravery to see in the front row so much suffering, doing their best to save lives, even putting their own lives at risk.
So when I found this mural in one of the streets of the city of Merida (Venezuela), specifically in the vicinity of the School of Nursing at the University of the Andes, I thought it had been a wonderful find.
The mural simply charmed me, all credits to its author, I like how they captured the scene of an operating room, it looks like several doctors, with the lungs of a human being in hand, adorned with flowers and butterflies, full of color, full of that life, that these professionals safeguard.
I like how the blue suit, stands out from far away, it is a beautiful color. It seems to me an excellent composition and a nice tribute, also a great inspiration for all the students of this career and a reminder for us that sometimes we forget the value of these professionals in society.
Do not hesitate to share it, with this beautiful community and also dedicate it to all these heroes in white coats. Especially to my sister, my nephew and all those who are dedicated to medicine and make life at Hive. Thank you.
This is my entry to the contest: Concurso de Arte Callejero de CCC #157, which I invite you to join, so we know all those fantastic murals from around the world.
It was a pleasure to share with you this magnificent expression of art, I hope to continue sharing, more of the urban art of my city.
