Acá vengo con mi primera participación en el Concurso de Arte Callejero CCC #282 creado por
Bueno como de costumbre les traigo un nuevo hallazgo y está vez fue en Bogotá, Colombia
Mientras caminaba por el centro de la cuidad me fuí al sector de la Candelaria donde hay muchos murales y graffitis en cada casa y pared que uno va mirando.
Y caminando me encontré con este peculiar mural dedicado a palestina
Al principio no entendía muy bien el mural pero si me sin embargo me llamo mucho la atención la sandía y el niño y de inmediato investigue, y resulta que la sandía se ha convertido en un símbolo de resistencia ya que sus colores (rojo, verde, blanco y negro) coinciden con los colores de la bandera palestina y la palabra árabe que allí lee, dice: Volveremos
Luego de haber investigado comprendí el mensaje de este llamativo mural que enmarca en si mismo un mensaje de denuncia y también de memoria, ya que ha palestina ha sido un país muy golpeado por la guerra.
Está obra le pertenece a la artista y muralista Colombiana llamada Bastardilla y sus trabajos son símbolos de resistencia, lucha y rebeldía, así como el que les he mostrado hoy.
De verdad es un mural conmovedor que refleja una cruda realidad
Bueno sin más que agregar espero que les haya gustado tanto como a mí.

Here I am with my first entry in the Street Art Contest CCC #282 created by
Well, as usual, I bring you a new discovery, and this time it was in Bogotá, Colombia.
While walking through the city centre, I went to the La Candelaria neighbourhood, where there are many murals and graffiti on every house and wall you look at.
And while walking, I came across this peculiar mural dedicated to Palestine.
At first, I didn't quite understand the mural, but the watermelon and the child caught my attention, so I immediately investigated. It turns out that the watermelon has become a symbol of resistance because its colours (red, green, white, and black) match the colours of the Palestinian flag, and the Arabic word that reads there says, "We will return."
After doing some research, I understood the message of this striking mural, which frames a message of denunciation and also of memory, since Palestine has been a country severely affected by war.
This work belongs to the Colombian artist and muralist called Bastardilla, and her works are symbols of resistance, struggle, and rebellion, just like the one I have shown you today.
It is truly a moving mural that reflects a harsh reality.
