Hello, street art friends. As usual, I bring you a new discovery, but this time it is of a religious nature.
While I was in my country, Venezuela, I went to the town of Santa Rosa, home to the Virgin known as the Divine Shepherdess, who has one of the largest Marian processions in the world. Approximately 4 million people gather to carry her from this town to the city of Barquisimeto, where every year she visits Catholic churches as part of Catholic tradition. Before Holy Week, she returns to her town.
As a curious note, this Virgin was brought from Spain in 1855 when the city of Barquisimeto, Venezuela, was hit by a cholera epidemic that claimed many victims. She was brought as a symbol of hope and faith in the midst of so much pain, but when, after a while, they decided to take her back to Spain, the image of the Virgin became so heavy that it was impossible to lift her, and this was taken as a sign that she wanted to stay in Santa Rosa. She has remained there from 1855 to the present day.
It is considered the third largest marine manifestation in the world after the Virgin of Guadalupe (Mexico) and the Virgin of Fatima in Portugal.

Divina pastora
Hola amigos de streetart como de costumbre traigo un nuevo hallazgo pero está vez de índole religioso.
Mientras estaba en mi país Venezuela,.me fuí al pueblo de Santa Rosa, lugar donde mora está Virgen llama la Divina Pastora, quien tiene una las procesiones marianas más grande del mundo, donde se reúnen aproximadamente 4 millones de personas para llevarla desde este pueblo a la cuidad de Barquisimeto, dónde cada año recorre la iglesias católicas como parte de la tradición católica y antes de semana santa regresa a su pueblo.
Cómo nota curiosa a esta virgen la trajeron desde España en 1855 cuando en la cuidad de Barquisimeto, en Venezuela había llegado la espidemia del Cólera teniendo así muchas víctimas. Y cuando la trajeron como símbolo de esperanza y fé en Medio de tanto dolor, cuando luego de un tiempo decidieron llevarsela de nuevo a España, la imagen de la virgen se puso muy pesada que no hubo posibilidad de poderla levantarla y eso fue tomado como una señal de que ella quería quedarse en Santa Rosa, desde 1855 hasta el día de Hoy permanece en este lugar.
Es considerada la tercera manifestación marina más grande del mundo después de la virgen de Guadalupe (México) y la virgen de Fátima en Portugal.
