Melbourne is a city that likes to define itself by it's street art
It doesn't really matter where you go you will encounter street art
Today's collection is from about 4 or five different locations across the inner suburbs of Melbourne, most are at scale.
The above is more a mural than graffiti as such taking up the entire building, at it's heart the question of happiness.
This nearby is of a similar vain, but without the existential crisis which is nice, more just early eighties fido dido vibes
Time for some paste ups, there is a lot to like in this, it's very deliberate, the use of words, the page from the dictionary, the 'un' page, suggesting things removed and then the art, the man on top, what this all done off site, or was the paper pasted and then the drawing done in situ?
Let's go more corporate, and back at a domination scale. this feels very 'clean' very planned, but it doesn't distract from how strong it is - It has strong Rone vibes to me.
This is also pretty impressive, as you can see about 4 stories high, and speaks to the culture, of Melbourne, in fact I'd say this is trying to pour a little bit of culture into this area (which is the home to many soulless apartments - got to give them points for trying
