The Mills formerly known as the Mills Factory was truly worth discovering, and my short stay allowed me to be immersed in a creative innovation that embodies heritage and culture.
You can check out the creative shops and dining at The Mills here.
Before entering the place, the murals in the outdoor corridor are the main draws. They were created by several artists who get inspiration from various sources. Along with the image carved into the wall of the Mills building, the sci-fi-inspired art mural serves as the location's primary photo backdrop. On the upper wall is a huge portrait carving inspired by an employee of the former factory.
There are two huge hand sign murals on both sides of a door. Later, I realized that the strings of both hands can be connected although they were made by two different artists. What could it be? And are more murals inspired by the daily life scene inside the former factory, nature, and other events.
As I roamed around The Mills, I found more interesting artworks. This exhibition shows artworks by primary students from a certain school. Their artworks are not just ordinary but unique and creative using art coloring, textiles, papers, and organic materials. The fact that they are made by primary students truly is impressive! They are undoubtedly better than my artwork.
This become one of the most visited spots in The Mills, especially by art lovers. This establishment isn't just an ordinary mall, there are workshop centers as well where kids can learn and practice art, heritage, and culture.
Which artwork is your favorite? I love the sci-fi one.
Thanks for stopping by.
