Finding New Colors

Wolfgang Salazar, an artist who began with graffiti, later fully embraced muralism to express his feelings. This Venezuelan artist, recognized both within and outside his country, has had the opportunity to travel the world, both as a guest artist and for his own projects, sharing his ideas and raising Venezuela's profile. Through his art, he has captured Venezuelan identity in his murals, incorporating local flora and fauna and portraits of people into his work. In some cases, he complements his murals with natural beauty.

Encontrando Nuevos Colores

Wolfgang Salazar, un artista que se inició con los grafitis, y luego más tarde comenzó de lleno en el muralismo para expresar más sus sentimientos. Este artista venezolano, reconocido dentro y fuera de nuestro país, ha tenido la oportunidad de viajar por el mundo, como invitado y para realizar proyectos; exponiendo sus ideas y poniendo el nombre de Venezuela en alto. Con su arte ha sabido plasmar la identidad venezolana en esos murales, aprovechando la fauna y la flora, e incorporando retratos de personas en sus trazos. En algunos casos, complementa con la belleza natural.

The aim is to involve the community in the creation of these murals, to make them true art critics, and to foster a connection with the paintings. The goal is for them to understand the language of colors and forms through the expressions of each muralist. This mural beautifies a space at the Central University of Venezuela; specifically, it is located at the exit of the University City metro station in Caracas.

Con esto busca incorporar al pueblo para que sea parte de estos murales, que sean los verdaderos críticos del arte y se identifiquen con la pintura. Que puedan entender el lenguaje de los colores y formas a través de las expresiones de cada artista muralista. Este mural embellece un espacio situado en la Universidad Central de Venezuela; exactamente está ubicado en la salida del metro de la Ciudad Universitaria, Caracas.

The extensive artwork was created by Wolfgang, Hive account@badsura, and Javier, Hive account@dimuro_s. Javier is also a prominent urban artist dedicated to social and community work, and his pieces are exhibited throughout Venezuela. As we know, the entire country is distinguished by its vibrant murals, which address diverse themes. These works displayed outdoors transform spaces and beautify the city, prompting reflection and fostering a sense of belonging within their community.

Quien también es un destacado artista urbano, dedicado al trabajo en la parte social y comunitaria, y sus obras se exhiben en muchos lugares de Venezuela. Como sabemos, todo el territorio se distingue por sus vibrantes murales, que abordan temas diversos. Estas obras expuestas al aire libre transforman los espacios y embellecen la ciudad, generando que las personas reflexionen y tengan sentido de pertenencia en su comunidad.
