I happened to bump into and his contest post on CCC's Street Art Contest #116 and I want to take part on this week's challenge.
It is about a Street Art Contest, I myself is fanatic to street art especially murals and painted walls. I really admire the artist's talent in using the walls as their canvass in portraying their masterpiece. The fact that these walls are carefully hand painted and drawn is beyond awesome. Also, the before boring walls are now lovely to look at. People would stop a little and admire the beauty of the craft. True, having a big canvass is a big challenge to their crafts. So, to all street artists, I salute you all! I bow down to your God-gifted talents and somehow you are sharing it with us.
Here in our locality, we have several wall arts too. Though the picture I have taken is with people on it. The rules had not paricularly says that no people allowed on it.. hehehe.. hope it's okay..
As a mom, my pictures are mostly with my kids on it. They are my most paid talent and models in my every click. Each pose comes with a hefty price, you know. These kids knows their worth.. lol.. hahahaha
The wall art's theme is probablity is the creatures underwater or something that goes along the ocean. And for the information of everyone, the wall art was taken way back in 2021 from the shorelines of Tomas Oppus where they have this boulevard where people can come and play and eat. Sadly, it does not exist today anymore. It was severely damaged by Typhoon Odette just last year. All of our coastal resorts were massively destroyed as well as those walls. ðŸ˜ðŸ˜“.... By posting and showcasing it here, I hope that their crafts will be remembered and not forgotten.
First picture we have the scary and fierce animals ---- the shark, turtoise and dolphin. I guess these were part of a scary movie somewhere. Examining thoroughly, the shark and turtoise seems to be tough and scary but the dolphin is sweet looking as ever. Sooooooo cute!
Hey hey, look at the kids, they acted out afraid and they seem quite convincing! Are they scared to death (who isn't?!, duh JAWS are real)! And it seems Little Mali is moving unto the back end 'cuz he is afraid of the sharks.
that is not a baby shark mom..
Well honey, it is the mama shark or grand papa???
yeah, but its really really really scary not like you.. it's gonna eat me!
So, I am a mama shark now not the T-Rex Mom. hmmmmmmm..
you're only T-Rex when you're angry okay
By the way, the artist is CEE JAY from Bontoc, Southern Leyte.
The second one is the upclose with the turtle. Whoever said that turtles are slowpoke??! I think if you yourself carry with you your house on the back, would you be able to run fast and hit homerun?? ah-ah I don't think so. I believe that the turtle is strongly built enough to carry the heavy shell house. Look at its biceps and triceps, is all muscles and no fat! They can carry their house everywhere they go and they seem okay with it. Unbelievable, right?!
The artist is from NINLOR of Sogod, Southern Leyte.
And lastly, the last picture the friendly neighborhood stingray. Yeeeeeeees, they are that friendly because they are always present in big big oceanariums. And whenever they passes by, people are waving back at them. hahahahaha.. or is it just my weird imaginations. 😂... Here the kids seems to be thinking that they can breathe underwater. Trying to imagine they are holding on their tanks. neat!!!
The art piece is from VGAIL ALIPAO from Malitbog, Southern Leyte.
Amazingly, the wall arts were a collaboration of artists coming from the different towns in Southern Leyte. BRAAAAAAAAVOOOOOOO!!! Great job guys, how I wish I had a 50% of your talent.
I hope you had enjoyed our little gallery for today.
Ciao!
