Hello 👋 community, I hope you are well, I sent you a big and very strong hug from Caracas Venezuela.
Within the extensive artistic world there are many styles that characterize the artist as a social intermediary who sends us his messages through plastic or audiovisual expression.
On Saturday an artistic event was held at the GAN (National Art Gallery). Where there was an event about Graffiti art in Venezuela.
It is really the first time that I have seen graffiti art in a museum since taking into account the historical development that this artistic style has had, it has been very strong and controversial as far as possible.
I really liked this since since I was little my life has been influenced by this artistic style thanks to my older brother who was a graffiti artist and illustrator.
I was even able to appreciate battles between artists of this rebellious style.
Art is nature created by man and graffiti is one of the freest artistic expressions known, and I really think that this is a very valuable artistic medium not only because of the historical trajectory it carries, but also because of the symbolism that represents for many artists of the urban genre.
"Graffiti is not dead! Free passage for the people."
