"Pair of Lions" Street Art

Directly next to the youth center Schönau in Mannheim are 4 large multi-family house in the Lilientahlstraße. 4 graffiti / mural tower in the height along the house facades, including this one. The 4 magnificent graffiti / mural came about through a contact of the municipal youth center Schönau to the graffiti artist and the GBG - Mannheimer Housing association Gmbh. The GBG has provided these 4 house facades, the youth center Schönau the spray cans and the material, Rick Riojas has created them voluntarily (without payment) them and also with together work with a few other artists. Rick Riojas works full-time as a tattoo artist and in his spare time the graffiti, but also commercially. The other 3 graffiti / mural on the facades of the GBG houses, I show in this current week.

Direkt neber dem Jugendhaus Schönau in Mannheim stehen 4 große mehr Familienhaus in der Lilientahlstraße. 4 brächte Graffitis / Mural ragen in die höhe an der Hausfassaden entlang, auch dieses hier. Die 4 prächtigen Graffitis / Mural kam durch einen Kontakt des städtischen Jugendhauses Schönau zum Graffiti-Künstler und der GBG – Mannheimer Wohnungsbaugesellschaft Gmbh zustande. Die GBG hat diese 4 Hausfassden bereit gestellt, das Jugendhaus Schönau die Spraydosen und das Material, Rick Riojas hat sie ehrenamtlich ( ohne Bezahlung ) sie kreiert und auch mit zusammen arbeit mit ein paar anderen Künstlern. Rick Riojas arbeitet Hauptberuflich als Tattoowierer und in seiner Freizeit die Graffitis, aber auch gewerblich. Die anderen 3 Graffitis / Mural an der Hausfassaden der GBG Häuser, zeige ich in dieser laufende Woche.

Jedoch hat das ganze nun einen harken die GBG – Mannheimer Wohnungsbaugesellschaft Gmbh lässt die Graffitis beibehalten bis die 4 Gebäuden neu Renoviert / Saniert werden. Wann es soweit ist, ist noch unbekannt, jedoch können wir uns noch lange diese Graffiti / Mural bewundern.
