¡Hola a todos! Esta semana les traigo para mostrar un mural que está a unas cuantas cuadras de donde estoy residenciada ¿Lo curioso? ¡Nunca me había fijado en él! Y eso que tengo muchísimo tiempo pasándole por al lado, de hecho, paso por ahí casi todos los días cuando salgo al centro. Está ubicado en el Este de la Ciudad de Barquisimeto en Venezuela. Busqué por todos lados y no hallé ningún indicio de firma, por lo cual, tengo la teoría de que es un mural que hicieron los mismos dueños de aquella edificación (Antes, cuando yo hacía cosas para mí, no las firmaba 😅).

Hi everyone! This week I bring you to show a mural that is a few blocks from where I live. The funny thing? I had never noticed him! And that I have a lot of time passing by, in fact, I pass by almost every day when I go out to the center. It is located in the East of the City of Barquisimeto in Venezuela. I looked everywhere and did not find any sign of a signature, therefore, I have the theory that it is a mural made by the owners of that building (Before, when I made things for myself, I did not sign them 😅).

De verdad fue muy sorpresivo levantar la vista y exclamar "¡Hey! ¡Pero si aquí hay un mural! ¡¿Cómo no lo había visto antes?!". Creo que una de las cosas que ayudó a que se perdiera de vista, es que está demasiado descolorido. Puede ser que utilizaran pintura no adecuada, la ligaran con agua o fuera la misma acción solar la que lo llevara a aquel término de desgaste de color. Y es que se ve casi grisáceo, siendo difícil apreciar los tonos rojos y los verdes 😢

It was really very surprising to look up and exclaim "Hey! But there is a mural here! How could I not see it before ?!" I think one of the things that helped it get out of sight is that it is too discolored. It may be that they used unsuitable paint, they bound it with water or it was the solar action itself that led to that term of color wear. And it is that it looks almost grayish, being difficult to appreciate the red and green tones 😢

No entiendo para nada el concepto. Es decir ¿Por qué un tema acuático en aquel lugar? No hay nada representativo al agua cerca. Pero bueno, supongamos que él que lo pinto es amante de mar. Ya que en el centro del dibujo, podemos apreciar a un simpático pulpo artista, con unos lentes muy parecidos a los míos (tal vez está estudiando Artes Plásticas, como yo 🤣🤭), ubicado del lado derecho, hay un manatí (creo que es un manatí... o una morsa 😅) y para finalizar, entre los corales de la izquierda, está mi parte favorita del mural... ¡¡Es un submarino con cara de gato!! Soy amante de los gatos y éste detalle, fue lo que más me encantó je je

I don't understand the concept at all. In other words, why an aquatic theme in that place? There is nothing representative of the water nearby. But hey, suppose that he who painted it is a lover of the sea. Since in the center of the drawing, we can see a nice artist octopus, with glasses very similar to mine (maybe he is studying Plastic Arts, like me 🤣🤭), located on the right side, there is a manatee (I think it is a manatee ... or a walrus 😅) and finally, among the corals on the left, is my favorite part of the mural ... It's a submarine with a cat's face !! I am a cat lover and this detail was what I loved the most heh heh

Ahora que formo parte de ésta comunidad, me he tomado muy en serio la labor de hallar arte pintoresco en las paredes y debo admitir que aparte de ser interesante y divertido, puede ser bastante sorpresivo. En mi país, ésta clase de manifestaciones artísticas no reciben la atención que deberían más allá de "un dibujo lindo en la pared", así que es agradable hallarse con un mural, ya sea viejo o nuevo. Pero bueno, aunque sea hoy, admiramos al gato submarino adentrándose en las aguas a visitar al pulpo pintor y a su amiga la morsa/manatí 🤭 ja ja Muchas gracias por haber visitado mi publicación. Now that I am a part of this community, I have taken the task of finding picturesque art on the walls very seriously and I must admit that aside from being interesting and fun, it can be quite surprising. In my country, these kinds of artistic manifestations do not receive the attention they should beyond "a nice drawing on the wall", so it is nice to find a mural, whether old or new.
