Good night, Street Art Lovers!
Here is my entry for the CCC's Street Art Contest #20, hosted by .
This huge mural of a Sleeping Fox is one of the most impressive Street Art pieces I've seen in the centre of Bratislava. (I think will like this drawing.) There are a few large pieces like this across the city, so if you are a Graffiti lover, you should add this town to your bucket list.
This work is a creation of the Hungarian artist Fat Heat, a name I hadn't heard before... but he sure looks like a very talented individual. Here's a more frontal shot, so you can check out the details:
As you can see in the next photo, the piece is really huge, spanning across the seven floors of the building. You can have a better sense of its height by comparing its size to the customer at the kiosk, down below.
This work was done in 2017... and the local inhabitants are already accustomed to it, so you'll see them passing by without even glancing at it anymore. 🤠However, nearly every tourist will stop by to appreciate this masterpiece.
The Sleeping Fox is located in an open area right at the centre of the city... and its visible from a distance, it's almost impossible to visit Bratislava without stumbling upon it. Nevertheless, I've added its exact location to my Pinmapple, in case you want to add it to your GPS.
This is a city I enjoyed very much and I would definitely be willing to visit again, if and when the darned coronavirus goes away. 🙄
I hope you liked these photos and leave me a comment down below.
