Hello street art lovers, today I will share some street art that I found on my trip to Medan. Every Sunday I will go to the city of Medan to buy some necessities. The trip from the city of Binjai (where I live) to the city of Medan is about 35 km and I can travel for 45 minutes, even though the distance is not that far, this is because there are several traffic jams that I have to pass, such as the Kampung lalang market which is always jammed. The first street art that I found was a painting of a girl with short hair, I found this painting around a train station. This painting was painted on the pillars of the railroad tracks to Kualanamu. There were many street paintings that I saw, but I couldn't take a photo of them all at once, because there was no parking space.
At first glance, this street painting looks beautiful, featuring a girl with short hair. His yellow face depicts elegance. His yellow face matched the color of his collar. This street art work looks elegant with soft colors and not too bright. Even though it only uses a few colors and is also soft, this street painting looks charming, a beautiful girl with short hair and a bright yellow face.
But if we look at the details of her face, this painting looks "ugly" with the shape of the eyes and chin which are almost one with the lips, not depicting a graceful face. The painting of a woman with short hair looks elegant when we look at it as a whole.
The next street painting that I found was colorful flowers, seeing this street painting makes the heart rejoice, the bright colors shown in this painting depict a happy mood.
The last street painting is a street art which in my opinion is "abstract", I couldn't find a clear object from this street painting. Only a few pieces of abstract eyes, balls and faces. The pieces of this painting seem to form a "story" and it takes a special approach to understand this street painting.
Like the following piece of painting that forms the face of an imperfect boy. Contrasting and bright colors make this painting more abstract. But what is certain is that this painting is a painting of Medan children who come from the Batak tribe, this can be seen from the words "HORAS" which is on the top right of this painting. Horas is a word that means greeting / encouragement from the Batak tribe, the word HORAS is always used to give an encouraging effect to Medan people.
All the photos I took with the Realme GT master Limited edition 5G camera. My post is to contribute in CCC'S Street Art contest #139 with admin .
