Hi fans of StreetArt and graffiti!
After a period of posting artworks from around home, it's time to go back to Dordrecht and continue our round trip through the city.
The Artist
For this post a piece of a illustrator and muralist Hedof, aka Rick Berkelmans. This artist is based in Breda and creates murals and illustrations in his own distinctive style of "candy colored" pieces, as he calls it. Once you see one and know who made it, you recognize every other piece he made.
Hedof is commissioned to do work for companies like Nike, Heineken, Greenpeace and KLM, but even tech-companies like Google, Samsung and Facebook turn to him for illustrations.
The Artwork
This artwork is done for his participation of the Beeldenstorm project back in 2016. It's made on the corner of the Spuiweg and Geldelozepad in Dordrecht. Inside the mural are thing and animals that can be found in nearby national park de Biesbosch and Unesco world heritage site Kinderdijk.
This will be my entry for CCC's Street Art Contest #117 | 100% Liquid Payout and ecency points as Prize Pool & Winners of #116 hosted by on the StreetArt community.
