Graffiti Lettering Contest - Entry #2

The Graffiti Lettering Contest is run by Hive account@trippymane and in desperate need of entry! As of right now, there are only two entrys this week. That's an easy win for the only people who have entered. I'd like to see more people enter even if it's only a quick scribble of the name in their own handwriting. You can't win if you don't enter.

This week I went with a different style. I kept it more basic with a quick throw-up and a scribbled handstyle. I have never done an "X" like this but after a few tries i figured out a form I like. I like the simplicity and didn't want to overcomplicate it with a shadow and doo-dads.

I am happy to have found other people with similar interests on hive. If you are interested in art or graffiti then please join us! We would love to see new people join and participate even if you have no experience with Lettering. Also, please be sure to like the official contest post so we can have more liquid hive as a pay out. As of right now the prize might not be big but for me it's more about community and supporting each other. I would honestly enter every week regardless of any prize at all. It's not hard to scribble down a word and post a comment. If you liked this post why not give it a shot yourself? Art is subjective. Don't be intimidated by what others are putting out. It can be very therapeutic. I mention scribbling a lot because graffiti is not supposed to be perfect. Perfect graffiti is sus. I feel like graffiti is a place where creativity can shine over skill.
