Here's my 8th Splinterlands Guild Brawl Report for PIZZA 2 The Deep Dish. I've joined the Pizza 2 Guild over at the PIZZA DISCORD and was introduced to the world of Guild Brawls in Splinterlands. It has been an interesting experience to say the least. 🎉🥳🎊
Guild Brawls are generally the same as Battles, but with some minor tweaks (of which I'll save for another day). Lets get right down to business as I analyze my brawls.
⚔️🛡Let the Battles Commence⚔️🛡
WON. Opponent out levelled me drastically but once GRUM went into a bloodlust fueled rampage, there was no stopping him.
LOST. Was out levelled and also countered by the opponent's anti-melee setup.
WON. Opponent out levelled me once again, but my Uriel and Adele combo was enough to hold him off.
LOST. Completely out levelled and outmatched. I didn't stand a chance against the opponent's Yodin setup with such high level cards.
LOST. This was a narrow loss. Even though the opponent was once again much higher levelled than I was, I would have won the match if not for a critical MISS from my Uriel at near the end.
WON. A convincing win on my part against yet another higher level opponent. I picked a correct team to counter him. Especially so for this ruleset which removed all card abilities, Magic Attacks reign supreme.
WON. A close fight against a much higher level opponent. I won mainly because of the Venari Crystalsmith's heals whilst my units picked the opponent off.
WON. Won a higher level opponent using Yodin with a superior lineup choice. If the ruleset wasn't one where every mob lost their abilities, it would have been a drastically different outcome.

I finished with a win-loss ratio of 5 wins and 3 losses. Slightly above average. I think it was a great result though. The battles that I lost were to high level superior opponents, so there's not too much I can complain about. I also scored some victories against much higher level opponents too, which always makes for a very satisfying win. But I could have probably made some tweaks to hopefully achieve a better result. Oh well, every battle is another lesson learnt. I'll do better next time round! 👍😄

PIZZA 2 Guild only managed to finish in 7th place! 🏆🏆🏆
This was a REALLY DISAPPOINTING finish. Based on the number of games played, there were at least 3-4 frays which were not filled. Everyone else, who did their part and took part in the brawl, actually managed to do relatively well with most players having a positive win-loss ratio. It feels like we've been let down by some who just went MIA without informing anyone else and did not allow us to get the necessary replacements. 😓😓😓
Great Job from everyone else who took part in the Guild Brawls though! I'm proud of you all! 👍👍👍
