What can I say? I had high hopes for the crypto market after Grayscale's win against the SEC in the courts earlier this week. In fact, it looked like that was going to be the case too when BTC surged up and pulled all the other currencies with it. However, everything has since gone back down to square one after the SEC hit back with their delay tactics and postponement of all ETF applications. It does look like this will be a marathon and not a sprint. 📉
On the Splinterlands dev side of the game, there is once again another Twitter based contest to win some Chaos Legion packs following the one last week. The bigger news would be the release of the next Riftwatchers airdrop card as the sales figures finally nears the next threshold! 😱
But before I go into detail...
A brief introduction before I start though...
Good Day to all Splinterlands players! (and people of HIVE! 😜) I've made it a point to blog about my weekly progress and experiences in Splinterlands/HIVE in my "weekly diary". Splinterlands & HIVE are what I'd consider to be my entry point into the World of Crypto, and I intend to use this as a means to look back on the path I've taken in the years ahead.⏳⏳⏳
This is now the 93rd consecutive week writing in my Diary (of sorts) detailing my Splinterlands Journey ever since I started this game. I talk about what has gone on my personal Splinterlands playing experience, my weekly Guild Brawl Reports, and also any Splinterlands ingame news. 🎉🥳🎊
No week goes by in Splinterlands without some news event happening though. And here's my pick of some of the most interesting ones in my opinion. 📰📰📰

It has been a pretty hectic past 2 days in Splinterlands as we've once again hit another End of Season. My last minute push up the rankings managed to have both my main and alt accounts finish in the Silver League. This secures the silver tier EOS chests for the next season.
Unfortunately, my rewards were less than stellar as the chests yielded no Legendaries, Gold Foils or Chaos Legion packs. Even the SPS drops were just mediocre at best. Sigh. 😭 Oh well, hopefully my luck gets better for the next season.
My quest for more Gold Foil Legendary cards from my rewards chests continues on ("Greed is Good!" 😈). It's a 0.008% chance, at base level, to pull a legendary gold foil, in case you were wondering 😉. Here's to more jackpot strikes in the future (i hope) 🤞🏻🍀🤞🏻🍀🤞🏻🍀.
⚔️🛡️Weekly Guild Brawls Report⚔️🛡️
With the end of the week comes my latest Splinterlands Guild Brawl Report for "PIZZA 2 The Deep Dish" too. 🍕⚔️🛡️
There isn't anything of note to speak of in my Gladius Case openings, so I'll leave it at that. Hopefully something better will pop up after I accumulate enough for another one.
🤞🏻🍀🤞🏻🍀🤞🏻🍀 Fingers crossed for a Gold Foil (Legendary!!!) I hope 🤣🤑 for my future Gladius packs. (or any packs/rewards chest for that matter 😉)
My main regularly picks up the ✨🏅✨Gold Foil Chaos Legion Only Fray no.12✨🏅✨ while my alt takes up the ✨🏅✨Bronze Chaos Legion Fray no. 7✨🏅✨ every week.
I should have been quite pleased with my performances this week, as a 5-1 and 6-0 win on my main and alt accounts should have been considered a great result. Unfortunately, that sole loss was due to the server lagging out on me as I was repeatedly unable to submit that battle resulting in a "fled outcome". 😡 I was that close to achieving a perfect score.
PIZZA 2 Guild managed to finish in 3rd place! 🏆🏆🏆
While we were unable to finish any higher, this should be considered a great result. We've only managed to fill 9 slots in the brawls and are massively disadvantaged when it comes to numbers. Just a cursory glance at the leaderboards would show that other guilds have at least 20+ more games to rack up the scores ahead of us. So our 3rd place on the podium is nothing to be sniffed at!
Great Job from everyone who took part in the Guild Brawls! I'm proud of you all! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
On a sidenote, we've still got some unfilled frays too so...

I think the bigger news is the reveal of the next Riftwatchers airdrop card. We've all had to wait for quite some time as the Riftwatchers packs were moving quite slowly before they instituted the daily burn.
The Sea Wreck looks to be a really strong card. In my opinion, this seems to be the WATER counterpart to FIRE's Grum Flameblade. This will definitely be a card to watch out for upon it's release.

Well, CHAOS LEGION IS ALL SOLD OUT! So the next most logical thing to track next are the sales of Riftwatchers.
1,410,737 packs have been sold (as of the writing of my post) out of a total supply of 3 million. There's still almost 100k to the next count of 1.5 million packs sold before we get the next Legendary Riftwatchers Airdrop card. 🚀📈🤑
