I think the key is balance.
Curious whether you think AI makes us more individualistic (less dependent on systems) or more connected (able to collaborate globally)?
I think we will become more individualistic in terms of our dependency on the "system." Like the things we "must" do to survive in today's society will change. We can run a small business with less people for example. And big rent seeking corporations will be smacked with the reality that they are no longer relevant. Will this happen? I have no idea but that is where my head is at right now.
If this happens we will become more connected as individuals and less connected by the systems that exist to keep "the machine" running.
This does seem to be the trend as technology progresses even before AI so the idea we are moving in that direction does not seem that far fetched to me.
