I always start the year off with a nice clone #garden to plant during the Springtime! Onion, Potato, Celery and Pole Bean [seed]. All I use is water to root the cuttings from Kitchen scraps! I save a lot of money this way, and they have a very high survival rate. If you look closely, the onion plant is in soil already! As you can see, these clones grow very rapidly. They are super seeds! ๐ช๐ฑ
The potato in the middle of the picture had a long string-like "root" that you can see if you look closely at the jar below it. I decided to do a bit of an experiment and soak the "root" in water. Look how insanely large the eyes of the potato are. They are also really healthy with no mold! Check out the beautiful purple and green color of the Potato eyes.
The plants are stretching a bit from the kitchen lights, but it's a nice way to get some free growing space. The plants will be fine when I place them outside. In the meantime, I will top the plants a few times to keep the veg. growth at a reasonable growth.
As time goes by, I will take more clones from my groceries. Stay tuned! I will have a very nice clone garden by the time the frost ends [Springtime]. Then we will place the pots outside into the garden! I have a compost bin and will add worms, mycelium, verm, worm castings, wood hummus etc. to the soil for these vegetables! They will grow large and beautiful! Quality Organic Produce. ๐ฑ๐ฑ๐ฑ ๐๐๐
