The mission took place on a remote island where a Highwayman unit had fortified an old fortress into a secure loot depot. After Roger Cadoret dropped me off, the operation relied on scouting from above, careful timing, and silent movement to stay undetected.
Using height, a wingsuit, and a zipline, I positioned myself on the main structure without alerting the guards.
Roger Cadoret, our reliable community pilot, tipped me off about an isolated island that has been seized by a Highwayman unit. They have turned an old fortress into a high-security depot for their scavenged loot. My objective was infiltrating the fortress, locate a specific package, and extract it.
As Roger dropped me off, I immediately scaled a nearby tower to survey the layout. Roger circled back, radioing in that he would keep his distance and only return for extraction once the package was safely in my hands.
I pulled up my sniper scope to tag the guards, but the distance was too great. Realizing I needed to be closer to the action, I stepped off the tower and deployed my wingsuit.
Just as I touched down near the outer walls, I noticed a Highwayman was riding a bike, heading straight for my position. I took cover just in time and stayed undetected.
I navigated through some jagged debris and reached the foot of a massive, tower that overlooked the central complex. At the very top, a torn USA flag whipped in the wind.
As I hauled myself up the side of the tower, I spotted a Highwayman standing guard on the opposite side. He was focused entirely on the main building's entrance, never thinking to look up at the shadows above him.
I reached the peak, standing right beside the torn flag. From this height, the main building looked less like a fortress and more like a high-security prison. I scanned the rooftops and was relieved to see they were completely unguarded.
I spotted a zipline stretching from the tower directly to the prison roof. I hooked on and zipped across the gap. I glided right over the head of the Highwayman I had seen earlier, leaving him unharmed for the time being.
How about we continue in another post?
Thanks for reading my post.
