To build Gunnar's forge, I consulted a bandit map and led a longship raid on a Saxon monastery. After passing the river and calling Synin to scout, I signaled the attack. My crew and I defeated a heavy shield-bearer, broke through barred doors, and secured the riches needed for our home.

Now that we had a settle down in our new home, Sigurd wanted Gunnar's forge up and running as soon as possible, and for that, we needed supplies and riches. So I had to speak to Gunnar first to see what he required to set up the forge.

Well, then Gunnar said he found a map among the bandit's rubbish, marked up with the locations of Saxon monk huts and valuable monasteries along the river. He suggested we work to take the map and put it to better use than they did.

Some locations were discovered with the map, revealing a network of wealth that would sustain us. I had to take command of the longship and then raid and find resources to build Gunnar's forge.

Supplies and raw materials are found in monasteries, so we were heading towards a monastery located further upstream. On our way, I noticed some civilians on boats who were surprised to see us as we sailed past them.

After getting close to the monastery, I called Sýnin to check out the place and it looked like a big place to raid and there were bandits everywhere. From high above, I could see the layout of the buildings and the positions of the archers on the walls. It was a well-defended site, but I knew my warriors were more than a match for them.

I hit the button for raid, so Eivor started blowing his horn, which gave his warriors strength for the fight and warning to the enemies while we were rushing towards the monastery.

On our way to the main chapel, some bandits came over to stop us. So we had to slay them quickly to keep the momentum of the charge going toward the heart of the monastery.

While I was fighting any bandits I could on my way, I noticed our warriors were doing best on their part by pinning down the bandits. It was heartening to see the clan fighting with such unity and ferocity in our first major raid.

Then there was this bandit who was like the leader of them, and he held a heavy shield that was blocking most of my attacks. He was a formidable opponent, but I could see his stamina was starting to fade with each of his failed strike that I was dodging.

I kept trying to attack him from every possible side, using quick dashes to get behind his guard. At last I took him down and look how I ripped his hand apart in a brutal finishing move that ended his resistance.

After taking down all the bandits, I had to collect the required resources needed to construct the arsenal and the forge. I destroyed that door that was barred from the inside. The way into the treasury was finally open.

Approaching inside, I needed help of Dag to open this big box that had all needed for Gunnar. Then Eivor mentioned if there is more, we should claim it, as every coin would help our village grow.
That's all for now.
