I took a risky flight toward the Isle of Spires, stopping at a small, separated island to witness a beautiful sunrise at a memorial. After relaxing for a moment, I grappled back onto my Sunwing to continue. To my surprise, the sun set rapidly, leaving the Isle of Spires shrouded in darkness.
And I'm sharing them for Gaming Photography Weekly Contest
So I took the flight towards the island without knowing if I could actually make it across such a vast stretch of water. The Sunwing's wings hummed with energy as the mainland began to shrink behind us.
On my way, I noticed a small island that was separated from the mainland, looking like a lone emerald in the middle of the blue expanse. It seemed untouched and peaceful, far away from the mechanical threats of the coast.
I circled the area once, drawn to the quiet beauty of the rocks and the way the waves crashed against the shore.
While I was checking on that tiny island, suddenly I noticed the sun was starting to peeking on the world with a warm, golden glow. The island was looking cool with the sunrise. I slowed my flight, wanting to soak in the colors of the sky before the day fully began.
I decided to land on that island where I found a memorial that someone built in memory of a friend long ago. It was a somber yet beautiful tribute, decorated with small stones and surrounded by wildflowers.
Aloy sat there from where she could have a good view of the island ahead, resting her weary legs after the long flight. She looked out toward the distant spires, probably thinking about the journey that still lay before her in the Forbidden West.
The peace of the moment was a rare gift in a world filled with constant danger and machines.
My Sunwing was flying around me in a protective circle. It waited patiently for my command. I used my grappling rope to get on the back of the flying machine as it passed low over the cliffside. The transition was smooth, and I quickly settled back into the mount's harness.
I continued my journey towards the Isle of Spires and on my way I could see the beauty of the ocean below me in daylight. The water was so clear that I could see the sand beneath clearly. It was a stunning sight that reminded me of how much there is still to discover.
The sun rose up a moment ago, but it actually started setting down towards the other side of the island when I was flying ahead. I realized then that my rest on the island had lasted much longer than I intended.
Upon reaching the island, I was flying above the only Tallneck of the island, which was circling like a silent guardian in the mist. The whole place was covered in darkness, and I understood when Aloy spent time on the tiny island earlier, the time of the world passed fast. Now, I would have to navigate the ruins under the cover of night.
The next post will be coming soon. Screenshots are my take from the game and I took the game logo that I used on the thumbnail picture from online.
SEE YOU.
