Greetings, fellow gamers/gaming photographers. As we bid farewell to another fantastic year, it's time to gear up for another New Year.
We're happy to announce our first-ever contest that will impel gamers to compete against each other in a quest for glory that will make your gaming heart race using nitro.
As Gaming Photography looks for gaming photographers rather than gamers, this contest will be themed to gaming photography, and this contest is designed for all levels of expertise. So, start thinking of the ideas you're about to implement.
Theme:
It's a new year gaming photography theme where you'll have to show us your gaming photography including "Happy New Year" by any means.
- You can either hunt a lot of animals in a hunting game and set the animal corpses in a way that looks like Happy New Year that might sound cruel but it's a way.
- You can use a spray in a GTA game to write "Happy New Year" on a wall (I tried that in San Andreas as a kid).
- You can use the dead bodies of the hunters in Red Dead Redemption 2 that might look like saying "Happy New Year"
- There should be games that might allow you to use a spray can, a paintbrush, or in-game painting that you might use to write "Happy New Year" somewhere.
- You can take some good photographs of your play from a game and edit them somewhere (for example Canva) and write down "Happy New Year" like what I did in the thumbnail of this post.
- Or you should just tickle your creative mind.
Rules:
As it's a contest, there should be some rules to follow, right? And these rules are not meant to be broken, lol.
- Publish a post in Gaming Photography Community showing some gaming photographs following the theme.
- Add the #gamingphotocontest and #contest in first five tags and then add tags suitable to your post (Updated).
- The post must be written in English (you can use other translations alongside English if you wish to).
- The post should have at least 350 original words in per language (excluding Hi, Hello, or some common things that you use in your post). You can talk about behind-the-scenes of how you implemented the idea to meet the word counts.
- Show at least 5 photos showing "Happy New Year". They can be photos from five different moments or can be a single moment from five different angles.
