After using stealth to eliminate a Ragewalker and a Rainwalker, I cleansed the first corrupted well. A delayed journey forced me to return and recleanse it. Shifting to a fast rooftop route via a Tengu, I reached the second well but was defeated by a Shadow Hunter and its minions.
Yeah, patience gave me good results there as I could take down that Ragewalker in stealth without having any problem, slipping my spell into its weak spot before it could react.
Then I went for the Rainwalker patrolling nearby, whom I also took down in stealth while staying low behind the overgrown hedges. The demon dissolved silently into dark energy, leaving the immediate vicinity completely empty.
And at last, the area was clear of any demon patrol blocking my progress. But the well was devastated, as you can see, which looked like filled with demons and thick black corruption pooling deep inside.
It was locked with a high spell that I had to break using my spiritual strings. And then I cleansed it, channeling my energy into the core of the reservoir to wash away the lingering malice.
After cleansing that well, I had to be fast in cleansing the next one before the spiritual link broke. Otherwise, the first one would be corrupted again, but I took my time to fight and take down some demons on my way.
And yeah, I had to get back to the first well again, as I was too slow to get to the other one through the streets. And this time I took down most of the demons around with arrows, and then I cleansed the well again.
This time, I didn't delay much to prevent the corruption from resetting a second time. I used a Tengu to grapple up on a roof and reached the second well real fast through aerial route, and I found it was being guarded by more demons.
I noticed this new kind of demon that's called Shadow Hunter, along with some Paper Dolls, a Marionette, and a Rain Slasher. And I was taken down there by the heavy attacks of the demons before I could establish a defense.
