The confrontation with Milton reached a deadly peak when Arthur was held at gunpoint, only for Abigail to break free and deliver a fatal shot. Following a frantic escape from Pinkerton forces, the group reached safety, where Arthur delivered the crushing news of John's fate.
Milton had Arthur at gunpoint, and as they exchanged words, Abigail was seen in the background struggling desperately to untie herself. The tension was at a breaking point as Arthur faced what seemed like his certain end.
Suddenly, Arthur lunged for Milton's gun, and the two entered a brutal struggle. Just as Milton was about to pull the trigger on Arthur, a bullet hole appeared in his skull. Abigail had managed to free herself and used a handgun to take him down.
After the adrenaline faded, Arthur slumped down for a moment. He looked like a man who truly didn't expect to survive that encounter, catching his breath while the weight of their situation settled in.
Abigail reached out for Arthur's hand to help him up. After freeing Sadie, the three of them sprinted out of the trading post, beginning a desperate run through the surrounding area.
More Pinkertons blocked the path, and I had to take them out while pushing toward the horses. The gunfire was coming from every direction as we fought to reach our mounts and make an escape.
Arthur jumped on behind Sadie to provide cover fire while Abigail took Sadie's horse. It was a long, intense shootout on the ride back, with Pinkertons chasing us across the landscape as I kept the pressure on them.
Once they were certain the pursuit had finally ended, Arthur asked the women to pull over and stop. The silence that followed the gunfire felt heavy with the news he had to deliver.
After getting off the horse, Arthur asked Abigail to step down. Seeing the look on his face, she immediately sensed that something terrible had happened to John and began questioning him.
Arthur told her about John's end, and Abigail broke down, crying out in grief. Arthur tried his best to comfort her, convincing her that she and her son could still find a good life away from this chaos.
Arthur urged Abigail to go with Sadie to regroup with Tilly and Jack. Before leaving, Abigail handed Arthur the key to Dutch's chest and told him where it was hidden, saying she had no use for it anymore as she rode away toward a different future.

Here I'm finishing the post for today, and I'll talk about more special RDR 2 gaming moments in Gaming Photography.
