Eagle Flies passed away in his father's tent, leading to a heartbreaking farewell. After parting ways with Charles, Arthur's health rapidly declined during a lonely ride, causing him to collapse. He was briefly tended to by locals he had previously helped, before waking up in Annesburg to face his final duty.
Eagle Flies was still alive when Arthur and Charles were carrying him into the tent of Rains Fall, but he looked super injured. It was clear to everyone watching that he was dying from his wounds.
After getting inside, the young man did not have much time to even talk to his father before he died. His father performed a tribal ritual to say goodbye, and then Arthur and Charles went out.
Arthur saw the state of the tribe and wanted to help, but Charles asked him to continue his journey instead. They shared a friendly hug, marking a deep moment of respect between them.
Then Arthur left the reservation, taking his horse and riding toward an unknown destination. I started to guess that the chapter was coming to an end as the atmosphere grew increasingly somber and reflective.
I was riding the horse in the early morning before the sun started to shine. I understood Arthur was not feeling so well as he started coughing violently and suddenly stopped his horse in pain.
Then Arthur fell off his horse after trying hard to hold himself up. He could no longer fight the exhaustion and the sickness, making me fear that his end was becoming very near.
It looked like I was seeing from Arthur's vision after that moment. Everything was blurry and distorted as some local people found him lying helpless on the ground and moved toward him to help.
Those people took Arthur somewhere and tried to cure him. A woman requested him to drink something, mentioning he saved them before, but Arthur did not stay with them and insisted on leaving.
Arthur went out of that place while he was still too sick and fell on the ground again almost immediately. It looked like he regained consciousness after a long time had passed in the dirt.
He got up and the whole environment became normal as he started feeling better after some hours. I found him at Annesburg in the early morning with a quest to meet Dutch again.

Here I'm finishing the post for today, and I'll talk about more special RDR 2 gaming moments in Gaming Photography.
