After clearing out the ranchers, I faced a final attacker in the barn. Following a brutal fist fight where I was nearly killed, I managed to shoot the man and loot the area. I attempted to bring the body back as proof, but after being turned away, John returned home to a tense confrontation with Abigail.
When I thought I was done taking down all the ranchers, I heard someone talking from the big barn. He was shouting and threatening me about the wife and son, trying to break my spirit before the final confrontation. So I went for him in the barn with my rifle raised.
When I was walking ahead, I used the photo mode to get a better look at the interior lighting and I noticed the rancher was right behind, coming towards me. Right when I came out of the photo mode, he attacked me with a sudden roar of rage.
We had a fierce fist fight there. Then the rancher was overwhelmed by my heavy strikes and fell down. But he got me at his gunpoint.
Right when the rancher was about to shoot me, John kicked the shotgun out of his hand. And then I got the chance to pull the trigger of my shotgun and ended him while he was saying bad things about Abigail.
Yeah, I didn't forget to loot that rancher and the others outside before leaving the place to ensure I didn't leave anything valuable behind.
My other boys took our cattle's back to our ranch and I decided to carry the dead body of that last rancher with me as a proof of kill. I stowed the corpse onto the back of my horse. I wanted the others to see that the threat had been dealt with once and for all.
But when I reached our ranch, I understood I can't enter the premises carrying a dead body, as it would bring unwanted attention and fear to the people there. So I had to remove the body from my horse near the creek and then I found the men who fought beside me, waiting for me. They looked weary but relieved that the ordeal was over.
There came Mr. Geddes who was glad to have me as I saved him and his ranch from bad omen who sought to destroy his livelihood. And then John was asked to take some rest, as the exhaustion of the battle was finally starting to set in.
After getting to the house, John found Abigail not happy about his decision to get involved in the violence again. She went to her bed without saying anything. John just sat there on a chair quietly, as the weight of his actions hanging heavy between them.

Here I'm finishing the post for today, and I'll talk about more special RDR 2 gaming moments in Gaming Photography.
