Hi, I'm back with another contribution to Gaming Photography community and this time I'm going to join Gaming Photography Weekly Contest.
After a quick rest, I headed back to the wagon. The store workers had already finished loading it up with all the goods I needed for my very first delivery task.
I began the long drive out of Strawberry, steering the wagon toward Pronghorn Ranch. It felt strange to be doing legal work after so many hours on the run.
As I rode alone, I passed through some incredibly familiar territory. It felt like I had been through these hills a thousand times before, and the nostalgia was hitting hard.
After a steady drive, I finally pulled into Pronghorn Ranch. I saw a man waiting for me near the main buildings, ready to receive the shipment.
I met Mr. Dickens, the ranch overseer. While he started unloading the supplies, John took the opportunity to ask if there was any permanent work available on the ranch.
Suddenly, two outlaws showed up and started harassing Mr. Dickens. They ignored his pleas and began tossing things out of the wagon, looking for trouble.
They didn't stop at just stealing goods, they threw Mr. Dickens off the wagon and sped off with the whole thing. Mr. Dickens was frantic, so I immediately stepped in to help.
I grabbed a horse and galloped after the thieves. Once I got close enough, I timed my move perfectly and leaped from the horse's back right onto the moving wagon.
After landing on the wagon, I made short work of the two thieves and threw them off. I took the reins and drove the wagon back to the ranch like a savior.
I drove directly back to Mr. Dickens. I found him with another ranch hand who was trying to calm him down after the shock of the robbery.
Grateful for the help, Mr. Dickens told John he could stay. He promised to talk to the boss so John could get some decent, steady work around the place.
John was ready to head back to Strawberry to fetch Abigail and Jack, but Mr. Dickens insisted on sending one of his own men to bring them over safely.
John was given a small but decent home and a horse to use for his work. The chapter ended on a hopeful note as John walked inside his new house, ready to start this new life with his family.
Here I'm finishing the post for today and I'll come talk about more special RDR 2 gaming moments in Gaming Photography.
