Arthur was caught in an ambush by bounty hunters while I was away from my desk. After recovering with a health tonic, I neutralized the attackers one by one, including a brutal eye shot at close range. I captured the final survivor with a lasso, intending to execute him at a nearby windmill.
After launching the game, I went away from my desk for a moment. After getting back, I found Arthur getting unlimited shots from a group of bounty hunters who had tracked him down while he was stationary.
I noticed there was one shooting, taking cover behind a dead tree to my back. I realized I had to act fast, as the hunters were closing in on my position from multiple angles during the chaos.
Fortunately, Arthur would not die in this state because I had not moved since the launch, but the visual of the assault was intense.
I saw two more of them shooting me from afar. They were providing suppressing fire while their companions moved in for a closer kill.
I went close to Arthur using the photo mode to see the damage. He was losing blood as the bounty hunter beside him was shooting him from close range. The detail of the struggle was cool.
I moved and I took a health tonic as fast as I could before I started shooting them back. The medicine stabilized Arthur's vitals just in time. I drew my revolver, the world slowing down as I transitioned from a target into a deadly predator using dead eye, ready to repay the hunters for their unprovoked assault.
There was this man behind me in the cover, whom I ran to and put a bullet through his right eye. He didn't even have time to scream before he was gone. The close-quarters execution was swift and brutal, sending a clear message to the remaining hunters that the tide of the battle had turned.
Then there were two more remaining who were maintaining distance. I was getting close to them, taking covers behind rocks and wagons, as I didn't want to die. I started waiting for the perfect moment to break their line and end the fight.
After getting close, I noticed those two were running towards the camp so they could survive. They realized their mistake too late. I put a bullet through one of their faces as he turned to look back, and he was done. His body slumped into the dirt while his partner continued his desperate escape.

Here I'm finishing the post for today, and I'll talk about more special RDR 2 gaming moments in Gaming Photography.
