After a brutal fight, Micah overpowered Arthur. As Arthur crawled for his gun, Dutch intervened but ultimately walked away, leaving them both. Micah executed Arthur on the cliffside, and the chapter ended with the somber vision of a black wolf entering a dark cave.
I was doing great in the fight against Micah, but his health and strength were too much. He suddenly overpowered me and thrust Arthur into the dirt with a final, violent burst of energy.
Both of them collapsed, completely drained from the struggle. It was clear that Arthur was much worse off, his body finally failing him after everything he had been through.
I spotted Arthur's handgun lying just out of reach. I had to desperately crawl toward it while Micah slowly regained his footing and started closing the distance.
Just as I was about to reach the gun, a heavy boot stepped on Arthur's hand. Arthur looked up to see Dutch van der Linde standing over them, watching the two men he once called sons destroy each other.
Micah tried to convince Dutch to leave with him, claiming they had won. Arthur used his last bit of strength to tell Dutch that John made it out, proving Micah's betrayal. For a moment, it seemed like Dutch finally saw Micah for the rat he was.
Instead of taking action, Dutch simply walked away in silence, leaving them both behind. Micah pointed his gun at Arthur's head, claiming Arthur was no better than him, but Arthur just called him a fool one last time.
Then Micah did the unthinkable and shot Arthur. Seeing the man I had spent so much time with die right in front of me, was a truly difficult and emotional moment.
The vision of the black wolf appeared again, the one Arthur had seen in his dreams. This time, it turned away and walked slowly into a dark cave, signaling the final end.
A somber cinematic showed Arthur's body lying on the cliffside as the camera zoomed out to show the vast landscape. The chapter ended there, marking the close of a massive journey.

Here I'm finishing the post for today, and I'll talk about more special RDR 2 gaming moments in Gaming Photography.
