I finally managed to lead the entire Inquisition to a safe place, where my instinct has guided me to a large, ancient, and ruined castle called the Celestial Fiefdom, a place I had never known before, but it will be the ideal area to move the Inquisition forward and see what we will face this time with this new threat.
We had barely arrived at the great celestial stronghold when the others began preparations for a pact that would make me commander of the entire Inquisition. This was because I had demonstrated my ability to command an army, and my senses as a leader had brought us to this point.
The castle was utterly imposing and abandoned. I don't know what brought me to this new place, but I am certain that we will once again provoke the wrath of the old one, and we will see what complications we will face this time. But we will need a great army to confront his.
All the members of the Inquisition were gathered in a square of the fortress to commemorate this moment in which I am given the sword of the leaders, where from now on, I can make my own decisions and give orders to all the members to judge and punish those who do evil within the Inquisition, so there they all were enjoying this moment preparing for our next move.
After the commemoration, we began to explore the entire castle from the inside, finding a lot of ruins and a large throne at the end of the corridor of what appeared to be an audience hall. I approached slowly to admire the beauty of the throne and the window at the back. The lighting was absolutely perfect. I felt at that moment like a future king trying to create an empire worthy of admiration and living in.
Continuing my exploration, I noticed enormous tablecloths behind me, decorated with symbols of what was once a great kingdom. Their banners on the walls were illegible, making it impossible to understand which kingdom we were talking about. I ordered them to remove all the decorations and replace them with anything representing the Inquisition.
Even the blacksmith's workshop was much larger and more comfortable than before. The blacksmith seemed pleased with his new space, but now he couldn't find his tools because of how vast the area was. I continued exploring until I reached the outskirts of the castle.
Then I went to talk with all my companions, where I found Cassandra reading a book Barrick had written. She mentioned that the stories in his book were fascinating, and that she found it incredible that a dwarf like him had lived through so many adventures.
Afterward, I convened the council to prepare our next move and recruit more men for the war, following in the footsteps of the ancient one.
