🎮 Today I Resume My Adventure in Expedition 33, the Best Game of the Year
Today I Returned to Expedition 33 and This Is What Happened
Seeing the “Continue” screen again, I knew I was back in a world that had left a deep mark on me.
Due to health reasons, I hadn’t played for a while, but today I decided to continue my adventure in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, the RPG that I consider the best game of the year.
This title combines a powerful story, strategic turn-based combat with real-time actions, and memorable characters that accompany you on a desperate mission: stopping the Paintress before her cycle of death continues.
🌟 Entering the Puppet World and Its Creatures
Loading the game and stepping back into the world, my first impression was the visual richness and the feeling of being inside a living story.
The lands I explore are full of strange creatures and statues that seem to serve a purpose beyond battle. The mix of light and shadow, beauty and danger, is what makes this game unique.
One of the first things I encountered was a character resembling a ghostly boy or a deceased entity, someone who seemed trapped between this world and something else. I didn’t go deep into the dialogue, but his presence made it clear from the start that this game isn’t just about combat — it’s a story with layers of mystery to uncover.
⚔️ Encounter with the Catapult Puppet
As I explored the colorful puppet world, I soon ran into a Catapult Puppet, a seemingly simple opponent — but don’t let appearances fool you. In Expedition 33, even the “easier” enemies can punish you if you’re not careful.
The battle mechanics are intense. You have the option to dodge attacks and counterattack, but timing is crucial. The Catapult Puppet doesn’t follow predictable patterns, and the counterattack window is small, making it tricky to execute correctly.
Adding to the challenge, there are other enemies in the area that can interfere or confuse your strategy. They attack in unexpected ways, forcing you to adapt on the fly. I quickly realized that even a seemingly straightforward battle can become tense and strategic, testing both reflexes and patience.
Despite the challenge, I managed to defeat the Catapult Puppet, using a combination of careful dodges, well-timed counterattacks, and a little bit of trial and error. It felt rewarding, and it reminded me that Expedition 33 is a game that rewards attention, strategy, and persistence.
What’s Coming Next in Expedition 33
This was just the beginning of my journey. The puppet world hides even tougher enemies, hidden treasures, and twists in the story that I can’t wait to uncover.
Next, I’ll dive deeper into areas where boss fights are brutal, and the stakes get higher with every step. I’ll also meet key characters who shape the fate of this vivid, unpredictable world — all while experiencing the incredible soundtrack that truly makes the game unforgettable.
Stay tuned for more intense battles, discoveries, and moments that make Expedition 33 the best game of the year.
