After a failed standoff against an armored guard, I fought a brutal melee to secure the final Shashimono banner from a watchtower. I eliminated an archer and engaged the ground patrol, but the noise drew the war camp general and another heavy guard into a difficult confrontation.

I still had to recover one last Shashimono banner and eliminate the war camp general to fully liberate the area. I found a heavy guard with massive armor standing watch close to where the general was positioned. I decided to challenge him to a standoff to end it quickly, but I failed my timing as he moved with unexpected speed.

That guard was really fast for his size and somehow dodged my standoff attack before I could land the strike. I had to take care of him next in a brutal melee fight, where I used my heavy stance to break through his defenses.
After fighting for a moment and dodging his massive swings, I finally took him down.

I found the last Shashimono banner on a tall tower near the center of the camp. While I was climbing up to claim it, I noticed there were several Mongol guards below patrolling the area in tight circles. They were unaware of my presence for the moment, allowing me to plan my next move from a position of height.

An archer from a nearby tower somehow noticed me while I was reaching for the banner. He started shooting me with arrows while I was in cover, forcing me to pull out my own bow to retaliate.
I took him down later, and surprisingly, when the guards on the ground below didn't have any idea about this arrow war.

After shooting down one of the guards below with arrows to thin the group, I jumped down to finish the rest. I tried to assassinate the next target, but I failed to get the drop on him and had to engage in a messy melee attack.

There came two more Mongol guards to look around as they found the dead body of their comrade I had just left behind. I stayed hidden above them. Once the opportunity felt right, I tried an aerial assassination on one of them, dropping like a stone to end him.

I noticed the war camp general was running towards me as he heard the noise and the screams around his post. I was still in the process of taking down that Mongol guard when the general appeared around the corner.

Right when the war camp general reached me to begin our duel, there came another heavy guard with thick armor from the opposite side.
This reinforcement made the situation even harder for me to take care of as I was now trapped between two powerful enemies. I had to think fast to survive this sudden and deadly escalation.
