After several failed attempts to face the Greek captain and his elite bodyguards alone, I lured the enemies toward the village where rebels provided me assistance. I adopted a hit-and-run strategy to slowly drain the health of the bodyguards while Hotephres watched from a distance. Eventually, I succeeded in taking down one of the bodyguards.
At the restart, I went back for the Greek soldier to finish what I started, but I jumped on one of his buddies in a stack instead of my target. The positioning was off, and I found myself right in the middle of their group.
I had to escape the wrath again as I already understood that fighting all of them at once would be a bad move for my health. I needed to find a better position where I could thin their ranks without being surrounded by their superior numbers.
I went back and I lured them towards the village where some rebels assisted me in fighting the soldiers. It was a chaotic scene as the local fighters joined the fray, and gave me some breathing room. I watched the battle unfold, looking for a weakness in the captain's defensive formation while the rebels drew their fire.
After attacking them for a bit, I had to take cover as the soldiers took down the rebels and made me the only opponent again. The tide of the battle shifted quickly once the local fighters were defeated, leaving me exposed.
This time I decided to take down the bodyguards of the captain first to make the final fight easier. I charged at one of the soldiers, but he was faster than he looked and took me down instead.
At the restart, I actually went for one of those bodyguards again, but I jumped on the captain by mistake and they took me down again. It was a frustrating moment as the entire group focused their rage on me at once. I was trapped between their shields and couldn't find a way to dodge the incoming strikes from the captain.
At the next restart, I attacked one of the bodyguards with a heavy strike and escaped right away before they could attack back. This hit-and-run tactic felt much safer than trying to stand my ground against the whole squad.
The enemies followed me into that village again, and the rebels assisted me once more with their bows and blades. The distraction was perfect, allowing me to circle around the back of the fight while the soldiers were occupied.
While the enemies were fighting the rebels, I decided to join the chaos and jumped on one of the enemies from a nearby roof. The surprise attack landed perfectly, knocking the soldier to the ground and giving me a few seconds to deliver some damage.
Then I decided to keep distance from them while attacking to avoid their heavy counter-attacks. This strategy allowed me to control the pace of the fight and keep my health from dropping too low.
With this strategy, I took one of those bodyguards down while the others kept looking for me around. They were clearly worried now that their numbers were starting to decrease under my persistent and silent assault.
While I was in hiding and the enemies were looking for me, I noticed Hotephres was just waiting there like a coward. He should have joined me in the fight instead.
I kept attacking the other bodyguard while they were looking for me, using every opening to strike and then vanish. Each hit was slowly draining the guard's health.
And at last, I got the chance to take the bodyguard down for real as he finally collapsed. In the meantime, I had drained his blood enough with my repeated attacks that he couldn't stand any longer.
