I explored the upper sub-rooms to locate the caretaker, assassinating several guards along the way. Upon reaching the southwest wing, I discovered the caretaker dead with a message written in blood pointing to the "Scriptorium."
To look for the caretaker of the books, I started exploring around the upper levels. I tried searching through some sub-roofs while the guards paced below me, unaware of my presence.
I targeted a moving guard and assassinated him with a leap from above. There were a couple more guards close by, so I went for them next and took them down real fast before they could sound the alarm.
I understood I did not have to leave the building, as the southwest wing was just on the other side. I hunted my first prey in this new sector, ensuring the path was clear of lookouts before moving deeper.
There was this big man on guard of the caretaker of books, standing as a formidable barrier. Before he could understand what was happening, I reached him fast and assassinated him, his heavy armor failing to protect his neck.
I found the caretaker of books, but he was already dead by the time I arrived. While I was examining the body, I found the man had written "Scriptorium" in his own blood before he died, providing a grim new lead.
I had to find out why the caretaker wrote that specific name in blood, but first, I had to secure the room. I took down the rest of the guards in the area, ensuring no witnesses remained to report my investigation.
I ran out of that place and reached the next location where I hoped to find some answers. However, the site was also heavily guarded, with soldiers stationed at every entrance and along the perimeter walls.
I called in Enkidu to look around, but there was a marksman who shot her and stopped her from surveying the area. I decided to take that marksman down first, climbing the tower to eliminate the threat to arial eyes.
After taking down the marksman, the sky was free for Enkidu again. I called her back and started surveying the area, marking the enemy positions and looking for a safe way inside.
Until next time, happy gaming.
