The journey returned to the Access Promise, where Drax was reunited with his daughter and wife. Despite Peter's attempts to intervene, Drax followed his family through a closing portal. The Guardians then faced a grueling battle against five shadow sources, before being pulled into a terrifying, dark void.
We came back to where it all started in Drax's Promise. This time, I found Hovel, wife of Drax, who was busy digging something up in something wrapped up.
Suddenly, Drax and his daughter reached Hovel after playing around the area together. Hovel mentioned that the two of them certainly took their time, implying a long-awaited reunion.
Both Hovel and Drax looked incredibly happy to be together again. Drax began following Hovel as she moved toward the portal, clearly unwilling to let her out of his sight.
Peter called out to Drax while trying to stop Warlock, mentioning that he had things under control. It looked like Drax was almost convinced to stay, but the pull of his family was too strong, and he followed them through the portal.
Warlock didn't waste any time; he ran forward and stopped the portal from closing. Immediately, the atmosphere shifted just like before, signaling that something weird and dangerous was about to happen.
It was the shadow spawn phenomenon again. This time, my objective was to destroy five separate sources of the shadow spawns. I headed directly toward the first source and began my attacks.
I worked hard to destroy the sources with the help of the other Guardians. However, because there were more sources this time, the number of shadow worms increased significantly, causing me to lose a lot of health in the process.
When I thought I was going down, I focused on taking down some of those worms to trigger healing properties. Once my health was restored, I went back to business and destroyed all the remaining sources with the team's help.
As soon as the last source was neutralized, Warlock was suddenly pulled inside the portal by an unseen force. Everything went black instantly, ending in total darkness.
The next scene was truly creepy. The Guardians found themselves in a dark, empty place that felt like nowhere. Using photo mode, I could see everyone was still there, but the sound design made the situation feel completely hopeless.
