Hello and welcome back to my blog!
A few days ago, I talked about a new realistic climbing game on Steam. At that time, I had just started the game and didn't know that it would become one of my favourite games so soon. Who would have known that rock climbing can be this much fun? The way survival elements are done, options to choose your own route and buffs to help tough climbs are done very well.
I love the way it looks, and today I will showcase some more shots I took while climbing Mount Kami in this game.
During the climb, you will encounter various caves and interesting artefacts. Some of those caves were important to the tribe that used to live here.
Few were made into fishing spots and resting locations. You can see me catching fish with my bare hands in one of these.
This mountain used to be a popular tourist site with a lot of activity. You can see the ruins of the cable car that used to provide a gorgeous view of this mountain to visitors.
At first glance, this looks like a simple climbing game, but it has a lot of hidden secrets, and exploration is one of the best aspects of the game. You can easily miss a small entrance to a cave which can contain glowing symbols and valuable supplies for your journey.
Sometimes, you find things like fireworks, which might not help you directly in your journey, but they can be such a mood lifter. There are specific locations where you can sit and admire the beauty of this place; only in those locations can you light those fireworks that you have been carrying around in your backpack, but it is so worth the effort.
Just you and your climb bot enjoying the moment together on this lonely trek to the summit. It prepares you for the next climb like nothing else.
There are wild animals you can find on this journey. Goats, bears, rabbits etc which adds to the realism of climbing and makes the whole journey more memorable. Nothing better than getting headbutted from a goat above the clouds...right?
I had a lot of fun in this game. What a beautiful journey it has been. They should come up with more mountains in the future. I can see a lot of potential for future DLCs. Maybe a co-op mode for climbing with your friends will be a great addition as well.
Have you played this game? Let me know if you like those shots as well, and which one is your favourite?
