Morrison tasked me with installing an ODT at the penitentiary. I retrieved the device and drove to Red Rock Penitentiary, where Charlie helped me sneak a drone inside. After passing a security scan and using a maintenance cover story to enter, I struggled to bypass guard bots without detection.
Morrison wanted me to add the ODT to a transmitter of the penitentiary's power supply this time. I had to retrieve the ODT from the lab first, ensuring the sensitive device was secure before I made my way toward the prison facility.
After getting out of the bunker through the elevator exit, I found the jeep ready and waiting for me. Jacob planned with Charlie on how he could get inside the prison while I prepared for the long drive through the harsh desert toward Redrock Penitentiary.
Charlie said his drone would not make it past security, so I had to fly it over there first and leave it inside. After reaching the parking lot when I finished my journey, I parked my Jeep carefully at first, making sure I was not blocking any official entrances.
Then I flew my drone into the prison complex. I had to avoid the automated bots and defensive drones of the prison before finding a safe place to land. I tucked the device away in a quiet corner where it could be used later.
After landing the drone inside, I had to get through the main security gate. A guard bot scanned me thoroughly, its red lasers passing over my gear, but it did not find anything suspicious on me, so it let me pass into the facility.
Charlie already made up a cover story for me so I could get inside as a visitor. I went for the visitor center directly, walking with purpose to avoid drawing any unwanted attention from the armed guards stationed along the perimeter walls.
After getting there, Charlie told one of the security cops that he was there to fix some malfunctioning bots. This worked perfectly, and I got the clearance I needed to get inside the restricted maintenance areas without a fight.
Leaving the visitor bots behind, I used the drone I had previously landed to open up a locked door. However, there were security bots and human guards patrolling the hallways beyond, making it clear that the next phase would require absolute silence.
I had to get past those guard bots without alerting them and without zapping them, as a direct confrontation would trigger the alarm. It was not so easy as I was not so patient today. After several failed attempts, I failed again after reaching this phase.
That's all for this session. More moments coming soon and thanks for checking it out.
