The team located Mayor Vega, but the meeting turned chaotic when robotic systems and a guard's prosthetic arm began to malfunction. After fighting through waves of rogue robots and mercenaries at Red Rock Metro, the group reached the Skycar. Tragically, Silva was shot from behind, forcing a desperate split-second escape plan.
The team finally found Mayor Vega along with her personal guards. Silva was furious and complained that they were using his proprietary robots without permission, escalating the tension in the room immediately.
Suddenly, Vega's guards, including Travis, moved in on Jacob. Jacob recognized the man who had ordered his elimination in the desert; both teams drew their weapons as the standoff reached a breaking point.
There was a man on the opponent team who had a specialized cybernetic arm holding a gun. Suddenly, the arm started malfunctioning violently, sparking and twitching uncontrollably as the system override took effect.
Not just his arm, but all the robots in the facility activated and began shooting at everyone, including Mayor Vega. The automated systems turned the meeting into a total bloodbath in a matter of seconds.
Both teams were forced to take cover while the malfunctioning robotic arm sprayed bullets at everyone at once. The crossfire was intense, making it nearly impossible to tell friend from foe in the chaotic room.
Jacob and Rigby had to escort Silva to safety after clearing the immediate robotic threats. I was hoping we would ride the airplane ahead, but the other group had already fled the hangar, taking Vega with them.
After getting outside, I understood we weren't taking a flight. More enemies arrived to intercept us, leading to a tough battle where I failed multiple times before finally finding a rhythm to push through the line.
We kept moving until we reached Red Rock Metro Station. I had to destroy more malfunctioning robots and mercenaries who were entrenched in the station, using the pillars for cover as the metal sparked all around us.
I noticed I could destroy the robots with a single sniper bullet, so I focused on precision shots. I picked off the bots and landed headshots on the mercs while my allies provided consistent cover fire.
At last, we reached the Skycar that belonged to Silva, which was our only way out. Suddenly, a malfunctioning bot shot Silva from behind and he fell to the ground just as we reached the boarding platform.
Since the Skycar could only carry two, Jacob and Silva went inside together. Rigby jumped into their automated car, shouting for Jacob to take the wounded Silva somewhere safe instead of returning to his known home.
That's all for this session. More moments coming soon and thanks for checking it out.
