I struggled to escape the robot-guarded facility, eventually reaching my Jeep despite an ambush by newly deployed cop-bots. After fleeing, I received a call from Travis, who directed me to a sniper mission at an abandoned site.
It seemed almost impossible to get past those robots, so I decided to head back. I climbed up the stairs as quickly as possible, but the doors were hard locked. This was frustrating as I realized I was trapped in the kill zone of the facility with no way to retreat.
Frustrated by the locked exits, I made a reckless decision to jump from the platform for a quick move to the ground. I hoped to bypass the sentries through speed, but the height was far too great. I died from the fall instantly, forcing me to restart once again.
Since the ODT was already saved, I focused on returning to the bunker alive. This time, I was more cautious, waiting behind a pillar to check on the robots' patrol patterns.
Before going out, I sent my drone to check on the positions of the robots and my Jeep. During this reconnaissance, I noticed a big truck parked right in front of my Jeep. I didn't know its purpose, but the sight of a new vehicle made me uneasy.
I started moving through the yard while using my drone to stun as many robots as I could. It was a slow process because the drone needed time to recharge after every use. I stayed in the shadows, waiting for the cooldown to finish before disabling the next guard.
After reaching the last gate, I took cover there because I didn't want to get eliminated again. To my surprise, the robots didn't follow me into the narrow space. This small victory gave me the confidence to finally make a break for the vehicle.
I ran towards my Jeep, but as I passed that big truck, I noticed loaders dropping off cop-bots to attack me. It was an ambush designed to stop any fleeing intruders. The newly deployed units immediately locked onto my position and prepared to open fire.
While the cop-bots kept shooting, I ignored the pain and ran to my Jeep. I scrambled inside just as bullets sparked off the metal frame. I slammed it into gear and never looked back, looking for a way out of this shit once and for all.
While driving, Travis, a man from Jacob's past, called suddenly. He asked Jacob to get to a specific pin to do him a favor. I diverted my route to follow the new coordinates flashing on my dashboard.
The pin led me to an abandoned site where I found a sniper rifle. Travis asked me to destroy targets to prove my utility. I picked up the weapon and looked for a vantage point to survey the streets.
I saw a robot on the street and some drones in the air. I had to shoot them down with precision. One by one, I pulled the trigger and watched as the mechanical threats exploded under the impact.
Once I was done, Travis said I did good and promised to contact me later. I stowed the rifle and left the site, finally ready to get to the bunker and to Morrison.
That's all for this session. More moments coming soon and thanks for checking it out.
