I faced an intense challenge while trying to install an ODT at a circuit board. After multiple deaths at the hands of guard robots, I realized that I lacked the ammo for a direct fight. I attempted a stealthy escape toward my jeep, but I was repeatedly shot down near the final gate.
I never thought I was in the deepest shit of this game till now. I just kept moving through the industrial corridors, relying heavily on my drone to open doors for me as I navigated the farm.
After getting to the other side of the checkpoint, I noticed I was incredibly close to the circuit where I had to install the ODT. However, my progress was halted when I saw more robots waiting to strike me from multiple angles.
They were positioned perfectly to pin me down, turning the open walkway into a deadly kill zone that I had to navigate carefully.
As I was climbing down the metal scaffolding to reach the lower level, I used my drone to stun some robots in the meantime. This gave me just enough time to reach the ground without taking a lethal amount of damage.
Once I landed, I quickly opened a door into the facility, hoping the interior would provide some much needed cover from the sentries outside.
I finally found the circuit board where I had to install the ODT. It felt like I was moments away from success, but while I was doing it, some robots shot me from a blind spot and killed me instantly.
I was respawned inside that facility, fortunately close to the circuit board. This time, I moved with more caution and didn't die trying to install the ODT.
I installed it successfully, feeling a brief surge of victory, but when I was escaping, the reinforcements caught up to me. I was shot dead again, realizing the exit was just as guarded as the objective.
I understood I had to change my strategy, as I didn't have enough ammo to take all the robots down in a fair fight. I focused on speed and stealth instead, opening the exit door using my drone to get out of there.
I watched the progress bar on the door override while keeping my weapon aimed at the shadows.
As I knew I couldn't overrun them with bullets, I tried to escape their fire and survive until I reached my jeep. I had to take some covers as well, diving behind concrete pillars and crates to avoid the relentless laser fire.
When I was this close to my jeep, almost at the last gate, I was shot down again. It started getting frustrated as the mission reset. Being so near to safety only to fail at the last second was a real test of my patience.
That's all for this session. More moments coming soon and thanks for checking it out.
